Default Help, buying a Rod

Hello, A friend will be in London in July this year ,and i need to buy a rod #8 9.6 feet 4 sections, I have plan to spend 230 lbs.what rod can i get that value? Thanks.

Greys xf2 4 piece ,8 weight 9 and a half foot for £239.00 ,much more 3 pieces about than 4 so i hope this helps Greys XF2 Fly Rods – Glasgow Angling Centre this from GAC so you would need to find 1 in London

For me its got to be a Sharpes Gordon 2 - Sharpes Gordon2 Fly Rods – Glasgow Angling Centre - although its a #7 weight, I use it with #9 weight lines and it still casts beautifully!

would suggest an orvis if possible western 3 aint a bad rod and for the money you save you can get a few decent lines. The orvis gurantee / backup service is worth alot in £.... much better than others imho.
