I was looking at new waders today and the guy in the shop told me to avoid felt soles as it looks as though there could be moves to ban them. Apparently Australia and New Zealand already have.

Wont be buying anymore Eddie, it's just a matter of a very short time.
There again, I don't need the EA or anyone else to tell me the dangers, it's pretty obvious felt will carry disease, made the decision a year ago.

I tend to fish the same river most of the time, so am hoping my 50-60% felt wont cause too much damage....
