Default Dream?

Looking for a 9ft 6# rod, has to have the finish/fittings of a Sage, sock, tube and include delivery for £100....a wee voice is telling me that it dont exist and i'm round the bend even contemplating it, if it did everybody would know about it........and yet...just yet, another wee voice is telling me that such a rod just might exist?

Delusions of a mad man.....or closer to the truth than might be expected?

Redington are owned by Sage or are at least in some form of partnership as they use the Sage technology. Whilst I am not saying they are of the same quality overall, they are great rods for about that price and I have a couple at present - maybe worth a thought....

As much as I like Sage rods, I think it's about time they took a leaf out of Orvis's book when it comes to reel seats, they are a bit staid.
I had a play with the Guideline Fario today, and for approx half the price of a Sage, it certainly wasn't half the rod, superb finish, excellent cork, and full of feel.

I know, I know! I've started to lust after the 8ft, 2wt version.
