Default Bothlin Burn or Luggie in Lenzie

This is a looonngggg shot but I was wondering if anyone had any info on fishing the bothlin burn in the lenzie area. I heard that the water quality has improved remarkably over the past few years.

I used to see a lot of Team Daiwa anglers fishing the Luggie water out in the back roads between Kirkie and Moodiesburn/Mollinsburn, anyone know if this is still fishable? I have not been down that way in a few years.

Thanks in advance folks

Jay

Waterside Angling Improvement Assoc' have the fishing on all the Luggie. Kirkintilloch Miners have the fishing, sub let, on the lower Luggie and the whole of the Bothlyn Burn.
Permits from JB Angling, Eastside, Kirkintilloch.

Not the best fly water in the world, but great for a bit of creeping about with an upstream worm, no weights,3lb line and a nice long soft rod.
Takes me back
