Default Have we by passed spring?

Are we skipping spring and going straight into summer,i allways mind April for being wet and windy, with the trout coming of the winter lures and into a variety of different flys, seems we bypassed this and are into Summer early ,all these cloudless days,no rain etc blazing big bulb in the sky has made my fishing a bit tricky this year on the still waters, and if it stays as dry as it has been wont do the water levels any good, maybe i'll get lucky and have a horrible May with cloud wind and rain the way i like it lol

TS, if you want crappy weather ...... come to almost any place in the US. This has been, and continues to be, the most unusual in personal memory.

Toss into that mix Tornado after Tornado after Tornado ripping up the US from the Gulf of Mexico to just short of New York State and as far West as Chicago, Il.

Think back to 2007 in the UK - we had a warm, bright spell similar to the current one in April and early May, to be swiftly followed by the summer from hell including deadly floods, and the Headingley Test being played over the late May bank holiday in a temperature of 7 degrees C

IN my experience it is nicely overcast with a nice breeze until you want to go fishing then you get bright hot sunshine or a blowing cold easterly wind.

As you can tell I am not ahppy about the forcast for fishing at albury this weekend.

I don't think it's t!ts out for the lads weather just yet but then again, early mornings are all I can muster at the moment. The odd shower over night and it's just dandy.

This year is just like I remember Springtime as a young lad in the 1950's Warm days and cold nights until June then we made hay while the sun shined. But I agree, we could do with some rain!
