Folks
Thanks for the views so far on the sinking line topic.
I have been a fan of Scientific Anglers from some years ago, always carried two floaters and two very fast sinkers coz being a competetive boat angler I had seen too many chopped by the motor.
Careless or games man ship by the opposition on the motor ? Who knows

Anyway I find during the course of a seasion that the floater and very fast sink ( Hi D / Di 7 ) get most work and thus need regular replacement.
The Slime line or Intermediate is next most used.
The Wet 1 / 2 / 3 only get the occasional outings and some are now 15 years old and nearly mint.
The Airflo sinkers were shocking ( IMO ) 15 years ago , hence my question about the memory and possible faults of current day product.
Tackle / lines must have altered in the 15 years that I have been working my socks off

, sod work I'm going to get back fishing

!
Yes all lines fall apart if used enough but I want your opinions on who makes the best range of sinking fly lines.
Do Airflo lines realy sink at the advertised rates ?
Do they really connect better to takes than say the Scientific range ?
