Default Calder at Hebden Bridge

Does anyone know who has fishing rights for the Calder at Hebden Bridge ?

I have a ticket for stetches between Heath and Sowerby Bridge (Halifax and Ryburn ticket from Jewsons in Halifax) but I don't know who has fishing further up the Calder ?

Joel

Hi Joel,
Its Hebden Bridge anglers, tickets from Jewsons in Halifax. The river by the playing fields at Brealy is worth a look theres always a few fish to be had there.

Regards,

Gary.

Hi Lads

I used to fish the Ryeburn at Ripponden, think that's it's name anyway... as a child whilst visiting my aunt and uncle. Had some cracking brownies on the float, whats it like now 25 yrs on any ideas?

Cheers
Pedro

Hi Pedro,
I was recently sat at The Bridge in Ripponden and there were some nice little brownies to be seen in the river - not sure who has the fishing.

Used to be huge monster brownies - 4-6lb - right in the centre of Hebden Bridge, that waxed fat on bread rolls fed by chip eaters - like myself - from the bridge in the centre of the town.
