Default Feeling a tad emotional

Feeling a tad emotional gentleman.............. today for the first time in over 30 years of fishing I 've had my rods stolen. Fishing Loch Eye today I took a break for lunch and take the dogs out, returning to the boat I discovered both my rods and my rucksack filled with all the junk I've collected over the years stolen. I feel sick. Anyone who's fished loch eye knows that whoever stole my gear must have known it was there. I'm sure you can guess what I'm implying.

where i fish one area has a secluded car park.Thieves can see you in the water from a road over the dam then go down and empty your car-i dont fish that area any more.At least they are not fellow anglers(i hope)

Hi sorry for your loss, but thinking on a tangent does this say something good about the smaller stillwater where everyone uses the same car park and you can leave all your gear by the water when you go for lunch or a bathroom break.Noel

Hello i am sorry to hear of you bad news seems nothing is safe including fishing gear, i dont know your area but as another member said reference the bristol area. my friend mislaid his priest on a salisbury fly club water ( lake) in the new forest, only members can use as locked gate, it was placed in the returns box and seen by the bailiff at the same time a S A D C member took it claiming it was his. makes you think!!. anyway i do hope you can sort out some more gear and get fishing again.

Dreadful - you must feel sick to the pit of your stomach. I was gutted that nobody handed in a quality pair of forceps i left bankside - that was bad enough - but this? Let's hope "what goes around comes around".

We may have had our differences in the past but this has made me feel sick to the stomach. Really sorry to hear about this horrid theft. Who are these ****ing people?

I've fortunately not had any fishing gear stolen but have had other 'stuff' taken-my complete set of work tools for example and I know the empty feeling it leaves behind. The word gutted was invented for these situations.

Hope you have some luck and get it back.

Chris.
