Default today's fishing

fished derwent res today....very hot and wasn't expecting too much to be honest, tried a few dries at about half 8 this morning as the water was flat calm and there were a few good rises but nothing took their fancy, then switched to buzzers nd was catching on red/orange patterns off a floating line, also caught on cats whiskers off intermediate line...ended up with 7 rainbows, all around the 2lb mark...oddly the best fishing was just before lunch time, sun burn on one side of my body is a small price to pay for a good day's fishing!
