Default Looking for loch brownies near Edinburgh.

Gentlemen,

I have a weekend in Edinburgh planned so my wife and little ones can catch up with a family friend. I've been allowed the saturday ( 23rd April) to go and pursue some trout. I was wondering if anyone knew of some wild brownie fishing, boat or bank about an hour away from Leith. If anyone could point me in the right direction I`d be most gratefull indeed. I was toying with the idea of a possible visit to Loch Leven, Would anyone be interested in an all day session if we share the cost of a boat etc?

Thanks for your interest,

Jay.

Thanks for the quick reply Greig, I think it you`ve convinced me and I'll be going Loch Leven. Just wondering if I should now post something in The fishing partners section.

Cheers.

I would call the loch 1st and see if there are boats available, weekends are a very busy time.

Loch Leven Fisheries, fly fishing on Loch Leven, Kinross

Right then, I've got a boat booked but Willie the Gillie isn`t available so I'd be happy to get the tab if anyone with some experience would like to join me for the day and show me the ropes as I've never fished Leven before. Just leave me a PM and I'll get back to you. Boat is booked from 10am till 6pm.

Cheers,
Jay.

I'd love to join you but I've not fished from a boat in 15 years, I certainly couldn't give you any advice
