Question Carron Valley Reservoir

Afternoon all,

I'm new to the forum and am after some information so i can at least attempt to compete with my friends when we fish at Carron Valley later this week... any patterns/flys/tips/areas to fish would be much appreciated!!!

Think polite PM to the sagely Jim (3lb Grayling) might be your best bet

I pleasure fished it during a national qualifier and was actively keeping out of their way. 90% of the comp guys were drifting the roadside bank between Gull Island and the boat jetty and I am told this is where the stockies tend to be.

I fished the wooded bays on the other side, which hold a lot more of the brownies.
