Hi there, at short notice I am running a Himalayan balsam pulling event on the Sheffield Don on 27th and 28th of April. This is to form part of the story being filmed for a BBC4 documentary about invasive weeds (hence the constrained filming/volunteering dates). Please, please do let me know if you can turn out for a few hours on either or both days (email me on p.gaskell8@googlemail.com). I will send you directions and arrangements etc. It would be a good chance for some of the regulars on the river to show you some of the fishing as well.
