hi there, im looking for tips for types of fly line n fliy set up for a smallish trout fishery for this time of year, i have either floating, intermediate and sink tip lines, (all cortland lines), also got a hi vis one from pirate, havnt tried but heard good things about his lines , anyway would love sum tips for the set up , cheers , russell

I would be a bit more specific with your question.

There's an article in this months Total Flyfisher on fishing a new stillwater. That might give you a starting point.

Floating line should be ok for most of your fishing for the coming months with nymphs, buzzers and lures.

Try flies such as Damsels, Crunchers, Black Buzzers, Diawl Bachs and Cats Whiskers
