Default Wylye Fly Tackle?

Has anyone had any experience of this lot?
Not (yet) the typ of web buying nightmare that we see in this forum from time to time but a tad worrying...
I placed an order a week ago and have yet to receive the item. I know that this is not a very long time but I have been unable to contact any one at Wylye Fly Tackle to give me an indication when I will take delivery. Emails not answered and phone number transfers to a mobile answer phone. All the things that start to ring alarm bells!

According to their advert in the Salisbury & District membership book, they only seem to open on Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday and Friday afternoons, and Saturday mornings - a part-time outfit to say the least.

So you may just have not caught them yet at their own bankers' hours? Still, doesn't sound promising...

So to update the situation, despite numerous attempts to contact Wylye Fly Tackle I have heard not a jot from them.
My last communications (an email and answer machine message) were to tell them that I wished to cancel my order. Obviously I have no idea if they got the message...
It goes without saying that I shan't be ordering anything from them again an would not recommend anyone else to either.
I subsequently ordered the item from Fishtec which arrived within 48 hours.

I friend of mine uses them on a regular basis and has never had a problem.

My guess is that because they are a part time outfit, they have taken 3 days off inbetween bank holidays.

I've never used them myself but my mate has never had any problems. Hope this puts your mind at ease a little.

I'd really like to believe this lot are OK but as the order was place on the 7th April I'd say they had plenty of Bank Holiday free time to answer my queries.

They opened a trade counter style shop unit on an industrial estate in Wilton a few months ago, that I noticed in passing about a month ago and wandered in. Small outfit but pretty well stocked. If I pass by I'll look in and report back
