hi, run out of Fluorocarbon line. will have to get some at the weekend.
anyway got some mono line i have had in my bag for over a year was wondering will this still be ok or shall i bin it.

I've had a spool of Maxima in my bag for nearly 10 years, I still use it for single flies/lures with no issues

If it's been kept cool and dark it shouldn't be an issue...............birdsnest

I've got mono in my attic that is twenty years old and still good.

They say it takes 600 years for mono to totally break down.

Should be fine as long as it hasn`t been sitting in direct sunlight. This can cause mono to deteriorate over time.
