Default Wild trout fishing Derbyshire, Yorkshire, North Wales

Does anyone have any info on free or cheap fishing in the above areas? Ideally I'd like to fish and camp around several lakes possibly rivers for as little money as possible and as wild as possible.

Thanks

Default Mac

Try Matlock Angling Club.
Only £40 per year.
There is an article in Total Flyfisher this month on the day ticket stretch, but they have much better water available for members.

Loads of good stillwaters around for a change of scenery, like Press Manor, Carsington, Barlow Lakes, Ladybower etc.

For some totally wild river fishing for both fish and location, try the river Tees, above High Force at Middleton in Teesdale. Day tickets at 10-12 quid, lots of fish all wild, river is never stocked and a cracking wild moorland location.

Good shout Warren......I'm not sure if they have 'free' fishing anywhere in England or Wales as I was under the impression that SOMEONE always owns the riparian rights and that its not always the landowner.
Such a bad description this 'FREE FISHING'...in most cases it just means you aint asked the owner.
Better luck in Scotland????
