Dinas lake is your nearest trout fishery. It is excellent value for money.£16.00 for 8 fish. Its a multi method fishery,Worming spinning and flyfishing.Nant y moch is also near it is fly only for brown trout.

Not really, only the Rheidol, Ystywyth, Aeron, Teifi and Dyfi.

Depending on how far you're prepared to travel.

Quack,

What direction you coming from?? you can get a WUF ticket for a stream that begins a few miles further south-east of Devils Bridge! Then there's the River Severn; and tributaries, the Irfon, the Wye, Caersws is only 10/12 miles from Devils Bridge! Get in touch with SAGE (Andrew) he's a guide and instructor for that area! He'll surly help you out!! Hope that helps a little.

Stayed near Devils bridge last June. I can recomend getting a Aberystwyth A.A ticket. The club is very well run and they have about 8 lakes that fish well in June, especially when the Coch y Bondu Beetle is about . They also have fishing on the rheidol, but it may be a bit early for good Seatrout fishing. They do have a good web site which is worth a look.
As Mostyn has sugested you will find you are fairly close to the upper Wye and some other rivers on Wye and Usk tickets, they will be at their best for Trout at this time of year so well worth a visit.

The road from Devil's Bridge to Tregaron takes you through some beautiful country, you can pick a ticket up there for the Tregaron AA waters from Medical Hall in the town centre which entitles you to fish the upper Teifi and Teifi Pools.

Driving to Teifi Pools from Pontrydyfendigaid (mercifully known as Bont locally) offers fantastic views over the Cambrian Mountains and although the lakes are moody they're full of trout even if it doesn't seem like that on a cold day.......

The Teifi above Bont is an archetypal mountain stream, not particularly different to scores of other waters that drain the Welsh uplands but very beautiful, give it a go!
