Question reels identify and line storage

Hi i have a good few spools with lines on them and wondering is there anything you can buy to protect your line and identify the line at the same time something to put around the reel.

Try googling around for spool tenders, most of the ones ive seen are black but you may find them in different colours

Post Spool tenders

Try making your own spool tenders from velcro, available from many sources.
1 metre of black will make loads, use the soft part to go round your spool, measure before cutting (avoids tears). Buy half a metre of white velcro and cut about an inch to join the black velcro. Use a waterproof pen to mark line weight and type on the white velcro.

Dave.
