Default Needing Advice / Glasgow

Hello, i'm new to this site and I need some advice.
I live in Glasgow, very close to both, the river Kelvin and the forth and Clyde canal. I have recently taken to fly fishing and as I have been made redundant from my work have a bit of time on my hands. I would greatly appreciate any advice on local fishing sites or organisations that would at the least improve my casting and technique. I'm not bad at the moment but I really need to get out and take advantage of my surroundings. Thanks
