Default Feeling lucky

I went to the shed at about 10.30 last night to dig out some of my gear for todays fishing trip, and this little fella was sitting on the shed door, wagging his tail at me. I'm taking it as a good omen, so feeling lucky today

Just thought I'd share lol

What is it? A Large Dark Olive dun? I have temporarily misplaced my "match the hatch" books but seem to recall that, this time of year, the possibilities are fairly restricted. And as I seem to recall that March Browns have a mottled wing...

A great omen!!! There's a lot to be said for 'feeling lucky' - I always seem to catch more when I feel positive - there's no science to back that up though I'm sure!! Hope you have a great day!!

Thanks. Well it was my first trip fishing for over a year on Saturday, fishing was hard with bright sunshine and plenty of gusting winds. Managed to hook one on an Olive tadpole but in my excitement completely forgot how to play a fish and it snapped me off. I was gutted but glad I had a pull. A short while after, sticking with Olive patterns, I managed to catch and land a 2lb 5oz rainbow, using a Dawsons Olive. I was well pleased. Going fishing tomorrow, so will check my shed door tonight to see what colour flies to use lol.

Thanks, and no probs mate. My 3 yr old has Leukaemia, so I know what its like when things like cancer, which Leukaemia basically is, gets its grip on someone.

Full credit and thank you to you for the whole fundraising.
