Default Cmon trouty

What a lovely day in sunny Scotland today!!

I would imagine a half decent rise tonight - who's hitting the water and where?

Not tonight, but Glenfarg tomorrow morning, 7:30am kick off
Not much rain the past few days with decreasing winds make nice clear water; It's to be a corker tomorrow, blue skies, little wind, no rain....happy days!!

Yeh so I seen - I'm taking a freind fishing for the first time tomorrow morning - opting for a nice day on the canal with some coarse gear. Get him a few perch/roach under his belt before weening him to fly ;-)

I spent the day on upper Tweed. Had three nice trout from the droont pool, four smaller ones and a kelt (lively on the five weight!) at the top of Traquair, then nipped up the road to Lyne station where I blanked. Warm in the sun, but a cold wind from the north was keeping the hatches at a trickle. All on a march brown paraloop dry. Lovely day out in the sunshine.

got out to grassholme for half day this afternoon. Only caught 1, the trout were feasting on beetles and unfortunatly did not have the fly.

It was a nice walk round the whole water though, and caught the sun for the 1st time this year.
