I'm going on a family holiday to Vancouver next July and expect to be spending a week on the Island.

I was there for 3 weeks 2 years ago but didn't have any tackle with me.

I'll probably be staying at the south of the Island.

Is there much "casual" fishing in that area, ie I don't want to have to leave my wife and kids for a week whilst I fly off into the wilderness with a guy named Chuck.
