Only fished it the once - just after the thaw, so can't really judge it. Very pleasant surroundings and the owner is very friendly and helpful. Facilities good.
It's supposed to be a great water for naturals so I'd take some nymphs and buzzers along.
I only fished up at the shallow end by reception, but there were only a few casting platforms and the rest was not really fishable from the bank.Might be worth considering hiring a boat, but there might also be more space down at the deeper end.
When I was there, the owner insisted that you needed to fish with fluoro or fine mono as the fish spook easily. I fell for it and bought some fluoro off him - Fladen. I wasn't impressed with it so I suggest that you take your own brand along.
