Default Chalk Springs breakfast

I'm fishing Chalk Springs on Sunday and am travelling on M25 / M23 / A-M27 is there anywhere on that route that we can get breakfast without being ripped off at the motorway services?

Don't go that route, it's miles too long and boring to boot take the M25 then come off at A243 (A24) follow the road through Dorking, then take the A29 exit through Ockley, Horsham, etc It's a lovely scenic route and a good drive first thing in the morning. there's a little chef just off the road at Pullborough about 15 mins away from CS or a proper truck stop at Toale, a little further on.

Good luck.

Alex

I have had some great breakfasts in the Swan Hotel in Arundel on Saturdays when I haved fished Chalk Springs, really sets you up for the day, proper full english, cereal, fruit juice, cooked breakfast and toast.

Then if you want, go back into the town for dinner in one of the cafes.

As I said this has always been on a Saturday so not sure about Sundays.

A couple of cafe's in Arundel do breakfasts, but not sure if they are open on sunday mornings.
On the way as Alex suggested there is the Toat cafe and also a Little Chef both on the way down via Dorking-A29.
There is also a Frankie and Benny's at Dorking which opens early,But it aint cheap and not exactly brill, but its grub.Just look up their website for directions.
If you go back into Arundel at lunchtime there is a decent pub just before the bridge on the right hand side of the road,Car park just before it on right,BUT i think they have stopped doing food sunday's!!!!!!!.Have a feeling the chippie is open on a sunday, thats opposite the pub.
