Thumbs up Big thanks to Brian Mcg (APGAI)

My Son and myself spent an hour with Brian this afternoon at the Goldenloch, mainly to detect and correct my bad casting habits and see where I'm going wrong.
Despite the tornado force winds and buckets of rain, Brian took time to explain where I was going wrong, how it should be done and how to keep doing it

My son didn't need too much work as he's a better caster than me anyway, but again, Brian helped enhance his technique and passed on a few tips.

I feel a few "practice" sessions coming up this week as I'm off work on holiday, purely for educational needs of course

Thanks again Brian.

Gary and Danny

Practice is clearly called for.
Must practice with a real fly, not a bit of fluff.
Can't practice in the local park with a real fly - elf and safety and all that.
You'll just have to bite the bullet and get back to the loch.
Tough being so conscientious.
