Can anyone suggest any good fishing around the above area, it will be for August this year.

Brockhill Farm Trout Pools would certainly be the closest, consists of 2 small pools. Pretty place but fishes better early or late season and has suffered from lack of oxygen in the height of the summer. Some photos here.
A google search will throw up some more within a 30 min drive.

Just bokmarked that one for our June fishing holiday at Arley.
Depends how far you wish to travel from Bromsgrove.There is Bransford fishery,Bransford Worcester.Small but pleasant enough place,always have a trip there whilst we are up that way.
