Default Renfrewshire And Surrounding Area.

Basically just doing a bit of investigating, I live in Renfrewshire and am wondering about Clubs and club waters, There are the Cart systems The Gryffe, and good stocked stillwaters, but looking at Google earth there are a lot of waters in the area that i can only assume could be Club waters does anybody know of Clubs with access to their own water
thanks

Walton Angling club and Eaglesham Angling Association are both worth looking at.

You have Greenock Angling Club which has Loch Thom and a couple of other waters up that way - Membership last year was something like £25.00

GDAC | Home is their website

You also have Port Glasgow who have some waters up that way.

If you go to the Tackle shop in Greenock they can give you info on the clubs or you can get day tickets for the waters

Default Re: Renfrewshire And Surrounding Area.

I'd have posted this sooner but haven't been around for a while.

There's the Paisley Abercorn who have fishing on the Gryffe, Cart and White Cart. The website address is:

Paisley Abercorn Angling Club

There's also the Bridge of Weir Club on the Gryffe although they only take members from within a catchment area.

Bridge of Weir River Fishing Club

There's also the Castle Angling Club who have the upper reaches of the Black Cart but can't find a website address for them.

Hope this helps
