Default just bought a greys x flite 4wt......what reel???

Hi all, ive just bought a 4wt rod should i buy a 3/4 or a 5/6 reel for this??
im new to fishing so please go easy..........
im used to 7/8 rods so wondered if i might need to buy a 5wt line to load the rod up more or would i not need to do this?
if anybody could reccomend a reel that would be great, i already own an xflite reel for my g-tec 7 & 8 rods, it does the trick but fancy something else for this rod.
Also if i hook onto a big fish with a 4wt am i in a world of **** with a snapped rod?
ive bought this for dry fly but i assume it would be ok for nymphs aswell??
Sorry about all the questions.
cheers

I would suggest the X flite reel matched to your rod. There are some good deals on at the moment so you should be able to purchase one for around £60.

I have a 9 ft 4 wt X flite and bought a shimano ultegra reel - matt gold. Lovely little reel and looks great with the rod.
