Minn Kota.way ahead of the rest for reliability.

I second that but make sure you settle only for the variable speed model.

I've had a Minn Kota Endura 50, 50lb thrust, for over ten years without a problem. They are very reliable. Don't get less than a 50lb motor.

This was the question you asked. But you do not seem to like the answers you have been getting
If You use this regularly.then Minn Kota is the way to go.Light use you might get away with the shakespeare, but they have control problems. No Idea about the Diawa.
