Default trout season/license dorset

Hi all,

I still don't know when the troutseason starts and ends here in Dorset.
And which license you need. I'd like to fish on the river Allen in wimborne minster.
Could someone sum up for me, when to fish for trout, grayling, seatrout, salmon and others species, in rivers. and when you're allowed to fish for it.
I tried looking on the internet, I think its all very confusing here in England.
It would be kind if somebody could help me out

Here's the link to the Environment Agency, Southwest Region that gives details for the open / closed season for migratory and non-migratory fish.

Pretty self explanatory.

@ lighthouse, that file that you linked me is from March 2003, is that still valid nowadays? and is the river Allen part of the south wessex region?
@jcp, I 'd like to fish in wimborne minster, because you don't need a day ticket over there.

Yes, still valid and it doesn't really matter if it's in South wessex or not as all rivers are open for brown trout in the area from 1st April.
