Glenfarg Fishery is not in the UK still water list or the Scottish Fishery section:

I left Dunfermline around 7am today and had a beautiful drive up to the fishery, passing pheasant, a few grouse and even a deer on the fringes; the weather was stunning with low lying mist in the lower ground and a lovely haze across the water (pictures to follow).
Cast my first line around 8am and landed #1 rainbow, a fish of around 2-1/2lbs, on a wee bibio.
After 20mins, I had 5 landed on the Bibio and Diawl Bach; by midday I had 20 landed, including a few 4lbers and 3 at 6lb+

I changed the point fly (bibio) for a wee hares lug and landed another 2, then I managed to snap my new Hardys Uniqua (arghhhhhhhhhh) on a forward cast; so I swapped over to the GRXi and landed another 5, one touching 7lb.

I believe I must have lost around 6, and missed an easy 12.

So it's a tale of mixed emotions; 27 trout caught an landed (C & R), and my new dream rod broken.

Still, what a fantastic morning, I'll definitely be back for another early morning session soon.

There is an Honesty box at the hut, just remember stick your money in an envelope (supplied) and into the box, remember sign the book.

Prices are:

£20 all day 4 fish then C&R
£15 all day C&R
£10 evening C&R

I normally stick a tenner in and fish for around 3 to 4 hours, although today I put £15 in; well worth it
