Default River Identification?

I have a picture in my mind from a photo someone posted some years ago. It is a river. It's a narrow section of the river and quite long and straight for about a mile or so. It is surrounded on both sides by tall trees and there doesn't seem to be a way to access it or that stretch unless you are wading or have some sort of small boat or floatation. I am thinking it may be a river in the North East possibly the Wear? Anyone have any ideas of which river and section of river has suddenly popped up in my brain?

Could be one or two rivers in the NE, although the Wear tends not to be 'narrow' except in its very upper reaches.

It could be The Viaduct/Bothal Woods on the Wansbeck. There was an image floating about on the web a few years ago of an angler fishing there. I think the viaduct was in the background iirc.

Still, the description could fit several rivers...

Looking at some pictures of Wansbeck I don't think it is that one, but it too looks pretty impressive.

The one I am thinking of is narower. It is like a stream in width but looks fairly deep. It's long and narrow and is surrounded on both sides by overhanging trees and it must go on for half a mile to a mile.

Another candidate: The River Blyth at Stannington Vale (?) – narrower than the Wansbeck...
