Has any other forum member had a problem with Sportfish orders via
the internet ??
I placed an order with them online on 23rd. & so far haven't had any
email confirming my order is being processed . . . . .
It's not the 1st. time I've had problems with Sportfish's lack of
communication - I think I'll cut my losses in future & spend my hard
earned dosh elsewhere

I have Never had a problem with sportfish, but I always use the phone and to me they have been one of the best to deal with.

Same as ROOK,been using them for yrs and have placed more orders with them than i care to remember.Not one single problem in all those yrs

It's funny you mention this. I ordered a fly line 2 weeks ago, it still hadnt arrived by today. I rang them up and they said they were out of stock and would send me one as soon as they got one in. DON'T LET ME BUY ONE IF YOU DON'T HAVE ANY THEN!!. I cancelled the order and said i'll get one from a tackle shop instead.

They're usually good, but i have heard of a few problems in the past with orders taking ages, and wrong items being sent.

You should have had at least an e-mail confirmation from them. Might be worth giving them a ring to make sure they received the order and payment ok.

I've had a reply from them, not everything on my order was in stock. I've told them to cancel the order & refund any money they've taken.
This isn't the 1st. time I've had a problem with Sportfish but it is the last.
I know it's a personal choice & this isn't open for debate across the forum, but Sportfish will not see another order from me & I will contact them in person on Monday to have my details removed from their database.

Never had probs with this company. Sportfish gear - at least the stuff I need - always seems in stock and is delivered extremely quickly.

My criticisms of Sportfish are with the site itself which has some elementary issues that they could easily fix by looking at how Amazon works (ie better):

• You can't keep stuff in your check-out basket between log-ins - everything has to be on a Wish List
• Someone else can't send you a gift off your Wish List - anything purchased has to go to the address of the purchaser
• They don't take PayPal

I don't go anywhere else now. Not ever found a better price anywhere, free P&P and he always lets you know what's in stock. Faultless service IMO.

Good luck with your sportfish order, i have no experiance of them but just thought you might the above might help for the future.

No dealings with Sportfish, but Grommit, is second to none.
