Talking Tried out my new Hardys today :)

I'm not a great caster, I'll admit that; but I bought a Hardy Uniqua 9' 6" #7 from Lewis (on here) and I am stunned by the amount of line I was throwing, and nearly all quite straight too
What an amazing rod, it seems to want to give more power with every cast; over the moon with it

I too bought a rod and reel from Lewis a 10ft #7 Snowbee Zr2 and tried it out today I also noticed a big improvement in the amount of line I can get out
With a heavier setup but couldnt manage to be very accurate when presenting my fly I am sure this will improve though.
Lewis seems a very nice chap and sold me the kit at a very good price.
Being somewhat of a novice I cannot justify paying loadsa money on kit that I would probably damage in the car door or by standing on it (which has happend. Very clumsy)

Lewis is certainly a top bloke; my laddie is now the owner of my (old) Scierra HM2 and Lewis supplied a GX500 rel for him at a great price.

Roll on Sunday, I think Glenfarg may get a wee visit from me, up there for 6am to catch the morning feeding frenzy

"Like a sinner, before the gates of heaven........"
