Default floatant stuff...

Looking at Orvis's products for example, Whats the difference between the hy-flote dust, the gel, and the shake and flote.

I haven't done tonnes of dry fluff chucking and have simply used stuff like Gink, whats all the powders about, do they have different purposes or whatever?

Ta

Default

The powders dry the fly off before reapplying floatant. Helps to get rid of any fish slime and separate any fibres ie hackle.
