Default How many of you stalk fish

Just wondering how many similar anglers are on here. You know, those of us who like to crawl to fish etc.

If you ain't crawlin' then you ain't fishin'!!! Add me to the list of kneelers, crawlers and low profilers who come home filthy and tired but happy.

Doesnt feel like you been fishing unless you are brusied, cut up and stung to buggery at the end of it.

Thass me. On a clear water i'll never cast unless i know what i'm casting at, and on less clear waters i'll fish the areas that stack the odds in my favour for brownies/large fish. i love creeping about poking a rod here and there, getting stung to sh it etc.. If i have a chance or two at a big fish but blank, i'm happier than to get my limit of stockies..

At my age if I'm not vertical, I don't fish. I'm with Mike Harding on this, if you stand still long enough, the fish take you for part of the scenery. I also value my breathables more than wear them out through the knees!

Absolutely, one of my nearby streams was stocked once back in the late 1890's with McCloud river rainbows and they have sustained their population since. The creek is quite small and extremely clear. Unless you are a skilled trout commando you'll never see a fish much less catch one.

Kneeling, Crawling and hiding behind Rocks Trees and bushes, all play a huge part in stream fishing! Cuts Bruises and an occasional chipped bone, then there's the Bambi walk stumble and fall. All because I love fishing the Welsh mountain streams!

Count me in.
