Hello Can anybody please give me any information about the Sage sp7100-3 rod its 10 foot and line 7 as ive just been given one and i cant find any thing about it thanks alot

The SP was Sage's mid action range about 10 years ago. The precursor to the ZXL and SLT ranges. Perfect for large river sea trouting or large reservoir fishing.

Nice rod to be given!

The SP range came out in 1994 and as Tony says it is regarded as a great sea trouting rod. I am sure that if you decided you didn't want it that there might just be a few who did!

Hi Pete yes it was very nice of them to give the rod i did some work for their mother and i would not take any money for the job so they gave me the rod .Any idea of how much it worth as iam only starting out and i only fish stillwaters at the moment

Hi Carper,

I had a quick flick through this months Trout and Salmon and there was one for £295. Dependent on condition I would guess if you were selling privately at around £200 and up from there.
