I fished Linlithgow many years ago in a competition. The team arrived early morning and there was a mist over the whole fishery. We'd no idea how big the lake was so everyone huddled and fished near the jetty. At 1pm the mist lifted and low and behold a picturesque fishery with a castle. The fishing was good and to this day Linlithgow has always been a magical place for me a bit like Brigadoon.
Nice fish by the way.
