Yep - I've got one in a #5 primarily for distance work. It's a great line, quite different from the SA MED in that it feels heavier on a long carry, but I guess that's down to the taper. Roll casts really well also.

Slicker than the MED but i find the 140 heavy on almost everything except all but the stiffest of rods and it does not appear to have the sophisticated front taper that the Mastery has.
Like wise Rookstorm, if your down my way give me a shout and i will dig it out.
I am a big fan of Barrio lines but the MED in my hands is more manageable, it could be i lack the skill to get the most out of the G140.
All the distance dudes on other boards rate it highly.

Should of said, my longest casts with the Barrio GT140 and the SA MED are only 3 inches apart.

Mark imo you were on the money.Myself and davefrotheattic Tried these lines tonight. I had a 5# 140 before but I thought it was faulty, this one proved it was as it felt more supple and wasn't lumpy
We started with a Angel te 5# and were able to carry a fair bit of line with relative ease and the line was very stable in the air. We shot to about 90ft we think(it was dark). We then tried the line on a Sage xp, we had a difficult time trying to keep line in the air Dave managed a bit better than me as he was getting better line speed but we both agreed it wasn't a balanced outfit. We then tried it on a 6# streamdance again it didn't do it for me ok we could carry more line but we had to work it more and it became sluggish.
The 4# we tried on a helios both agreeing it was a peach of a combination and we were able to feel the rod working even on short casts.
Try them tomorrow Stewart. Thanks Mike Barrio. Should have said we are not distance casters.Should have said also I have no connection with Barrio Lines.

I am led to believe the orange ones are brighter.
