Good News, Bad News
Good news,
A few years ago I went to pick up a pal of mine who had been river fishing. He jumped in the car and after about 2 miles down the road, he realised he had left his new Loomis rod propped against the fence. Quick Uturn and got there just as white van man had stopped and was putting the rod into his van. He didn't have a clue what it was worth, a few seconds later and it would have gone for good.
Bad news,
A few days later we were fishing a lake and having put his Hardy Marquis reel on the back of the boat to change lines, he nudged it and it disappeared into the depths.
Anyone had similar good/bad news?
