I've always had a decent days fishing at Innis. Even to the point of fishing 'till it's so dark I couldn't see the end of my rod and not been shooed off.
What problems have you had with the place?
As your name is Marazion Midge have you ever tried Tree Meadow or even The Drift. Now that is a beautiful place to fish (even better if you're a float tuber).
I've got no connection with any of the places but I do come down to work in Cornwall for 3 weeks every year so it's always good to mix work with the important things in life.

Went to Cornwall with the family recently for a holiday (no room for rods etc.)
sent Emails asking about hiring, borrowing tackle at the fishery. Never received any replies so didn't bother following it up

I'll have to give Tree meadow a go next time I'm down.
Have you fished The Drift? (Just west of Penzance) Cracking little place of about 65 acres. It's really worth a go IMHO.

I fished innis a little over a month ago.your right midge very weedy and the fish very hard to come by.had one fish all day. What suprised me most of all was that there was only four people fishing during the day and this was a sunday.I normally fish Tavistock which is always busy.Although im not convinced on their new policy of big fish in all the lakes (but thats a different story)
Regarding innis thought the owner was quite friendly and at £22.00 for 5 fish not to expensive either.
Worst fishery been to was Hatchlands near Totnes. the fish were of a terrible quality.
Midge was thinking of fishing tree meadow soon can you recommend flies and tatics

Midge is there still an Orvis connection with innis trout fishery ???
if so why not complain to Orvis directly about the quality of the water / fishing
