hello terry i use on occasions for PTNs or Hares/ear a bit messy but i always have a pub bar mat in my bag good for wiping hands!!. also good to sink a leader.

Xink is a wetting agent that speeds up the process of water saturation of feather,fur, or man made materials used in the construction of a fly.It is one of the best wetting agents. Water will do the same thing given time.
The two main products I use for this purpose are Gehrke Xink and Loon Henry's Sinket.Don't be tempted to use watered down washing up liquid as recommended by some anglers. The odour puts the fish off.
