Default 35% increase

Total FlyFisher have put the price of there mag up this month by a pound which means a 35% increase on last months price. Totally unaceptable.
I certainly wont be buying this magazine again. What do you think?

As a price rise, 35% is over the top.

As a luxury item, that provides several hours of entertainment and occasional bits of useful information, I think it is good value for money.

I'll go on buying it along with all the other fishing gear that I want, but don't absolutely need.

The extra is to cover the cost of the fly tying DVD. The price comes down to £3.10 next month. If you dont tie flies you maybe a bit miffed but it wouldnt bother me, its good material for future reference. As I do tie I think its a good thing to do once in a while.

It's still good value for money, look at the money your Missus spends on mags each month.

They can put it up to £10 for all I care...

I decided never to buy TFF again following the cover, editorial and article glorifying questionable and irresponsible 'killer shrimp' fishing methods at Grafham involving 'kicking up' swarms of the things and fishing into the groundbait created. (Mar 2011 issue).

Too late!!! At £3.90 I told my newsagent to shove it... bought The Field instead for an extra 15 pence.

The, what I assumed was free, DVD was marked "worth £9.99". I have no regrets or second thoughts. I read Steve Cullen's editorial, and there was no explanation, apology or additional comment to follow on from his previous month's Grafham killer shrimp edition.

Buy Trout & Salmon instead, whilst far from perfect it's heads and tails above anything else out there.

What a small minded and pathetic attitude. You clearly don't fish Grafham very often then? Simply pathetic.

There was probably no explanation, apology or additional comment because there was nothing wrong with the killer shrimp article.
