Default Quick thank you!

7 years ago my mother passed away, i used some of the money i inherited to buy my first 'top end' rod, a loomis GLX. About a month later, i lost the tip section in Grafham water and was gutted as the rod was bespoke, and had 'this one's for you' painted on the blank by the handle. after joining this forum i asked if anyone had any idea if the tip section could be replaced. I didnt want to try the loomis guarantee as i'm sure i'd have ended up depressed and at best with a new rod, which i didnt want... Someone on here suggested i try David Norwich, and for my birthday this year my wife packed the rod off to him to make a replacement tip section. I got the rod back, by courier, yestreday and i want to thank David for his excellent work. he's matched the blank exactly, and has even whipped the blue finish in on the correct parts (which i was not expecting). He charged a very reasonable price, and the work is EXCELLENT.

Thank you Mr Norwich, you have made me a very happy man by repairing something with such sentimental value to me to a fantastic standard.

cheers
Alex

Glad you got your rod sorted BB.

I have dealt with David Norwich on a number of occasions and he's a top chap to deal with......his rods are excellent too....
