Hi how much does it cost to fish the River Avon and the lakes at Avon Springs thanks. Stephen

Give them a call.

Last year it was £65.00 for a dual ticket (dual = river and lakes) for me.

Same this year as well...£65 a day for a split ticket. Specially recommended at mayfly time, and in September / October for the grayling.

Was there last Friday and was pleased that the fishing was no where near as bad as has been reported on various websites. The staff were definitely not rude and the lakes crystal clear. Managed to get our whole party bagged up by lunchtime and in to the pub. The river looked in fine form so next day I returned to a stretch a couple of hundred yards downstream for a few hours and the grayling were feeding like mad!

I know what you mean, but after all it's a commercial venture - no big ups = no anglers = no fishery, and then we are all stuffed.
