What would be the ideal set up for fishing both the Water of Leith and the river Almond

Only fished the Water of Leith a couple of times since I have come back to Edinburgh. Think that I would just keep it simple by using a couple of wet flies ,spiders or we nymphs. There always seem to be the odd fish rising so make sure you can do a quick change. Can’t help you with the Almond as I have only ever fished the tidal part for flounders. There must be lads on this forum with far more knowledge of these rivers than me----Where are they?

Join the club (Cramond Angling Club) then get access to the forum for bang up to date info posted regularly for broons sea troots and salmon, the guys dont mind sharing the info and welcome newcomers.
