Default Well she's done it now.

Hi Everyone,

I have severe pangs of guilt. The Domestic Engineer has just bought me a season ticket at my local Trout Fishery for an upcoming BIG Birthday. I did explain to her that to get maximum value for money I would have to attend the venue at every available opportunity! I also explained that the forthcoming decorating event will unfortunately be delayed somewhat due to the commitment I would have to make to said fishery. This situation seems to have triggered a somewhat negative response from her to the point where she is now questioning the wisdom of purchasing the season ticket. Please tell me that I am right!!

Peter.

It's only for one season. Explain her how many new colours the interior decorators will invent during that time. At least she will have the very latest to choose from.

Explain that by buying you a season ticket, she has saved a large sum of money that would have been spent on day tickets. That money can therefore be spent on getting in a decorator. Simples.

You are the man of the house and you should put her in her place, dont ask her, tell her you are going fishing.

I am so so glad my wife does not have access to this forum.

Ok, need to go and do the dishes, walk the dog, put the bins out then top up my wifes bath incase her toes are getting cold, psml.
