Default Stenhouse

Just returned from my first ever visit to Stenhouse by Burntisland, difficult conditions due to the wind but good fishing with good full finned clean fish helpfull staff and good facilities, the new managment team are working hard to get the fishery back on an even keel and deserve all the help they can get. So c`mon all you Fifers give Stenny a go.

Nice mate!!

What tickets they do?? Is there a C+R ticket?

Were you on the bank and what tactics did you employ?

I was off the bank with a 6 hour 3 fish ticket £19, they do C+R in fact they do a whole range to suit, because it was so windy I fished single fly (small goldhead damsel) next time I will take waders as the bottom half slopes out gradually and I felt I was missing out distance wise, I would stress there is no need for sinking lines (from the bank anyway) a sink tip is as deep as you need round the edges, Fish condition was A+ as can be seen from my avitar. Tail like a shovel ! anytime your up for it I`d gladly have a session up there, role on the summer nights.

I've not been commandeered into doing anything yet, so it looks promising.

Like I said weather conditions dictated my fishing style (and position on the loch) but I would love to give buzzers a go the water looks made for it, and dont forget your waders boys
