Default Glasgow Angling Centre `AGAIN`

Its now 4 weeks since I ordered a boat bag and 4 pks of flies on line from GAC, the money came of within minutes unfortunatly thats when the swift service ended. 8 days later the bag and 1 pkt of flies arrived, I am still waiting for the rest, despite E-mailing them on an almost dailly basis the balance of my order is as invisible as their return E-mails. Plenty of other companies out there boys

Default Amazing.

Don't deal with them from my side of the Pond (actually have with several of the Sponsors here .. and not a 'blip') but, just by the number of posts of this nature ... one has to wonder.

Wonder if their basic Corporate Marketing Plan includes "Death by a Thousand Cuts?"

Thumbs up Glac

This is a good reason as to why you should visit your local angling shop. You get 1-1 personal service. None of this bullshit over the phone or email ****. I use mailing companies, but you put your hard earned cash in their hands. Then it's upto them when you get your order. I waited over 5 months to get a complete order of flies. Not a very good advert for fishtec. Sso the moral of the story is, use your local shop or loose it to the corporate boys.

The thing that puts me off is the fact that nearly everything they sell is dearer than you will find in other shops, and their postal charges are too high, ian

Got to say I've never had any probs with GAC. Fishtec on the other hand. I'm sick of them advertising products in stock that are yet to be released by the manufacturer. Frustrating!

iv said it a thousand times now i think, maybe we need a sticky permanently on display on the home page or summat like that, excuse the capitals but here it is.
EVERYTHING A FORUM MEMBER NEEDS CAN BE AQUIRED VIA FORUM TRADE MEMBERS WHO ARE HONEST AND RELIABLE. THERE IS NO NEED TO TAKE THE GAC GAMBLE, THATS WHAT IT IS, A LOTTERY, SO WHATS THE POINT?????????
There will be those who have had no probs with them, lucky them, as thats what it comes down to, luck. If your not bothered about giving someone your money just for the hell of it, then GAC is for you, but think of your money as a kind of donation to their cause, because youll get sweet FA in return.

Pitsford Pirate
Grommit
Cookshill
Dave Downie
Steve Parton

To name but a few, dont risk it, pay the right price and get the right info its that easy folks.
