Does anyone manufacture a line designed for trout fishing, lake, that is like those spey lines you get with the different tips for floating inter and sinking to save you have to change line each time?

Have you tried poly leaders? Made in all sink rates from floating to heavy fast sink. I did have some but couldn't get on with them, tried but never caught. Some people do rate them.

Didn't use them myself, but I do use the windcutter spey versitip and I like it. Only thing I would have appreciated was loops on the tips (leader end). I guess it won't make that much difference for trout fishing.

Both Rio (Versitip) and Orvis (Multi-tip) have interchange fly lines.
Not used either one but would be good to hear anyone who has some experience of them.

-Alun.

Default Versi-Tip Lines

Hello Rollcast

I have three of these lines. Two Rio with one being a saltwater and an SA version in 7wt.The rio freshwater 6wt fishes very well for me used from a boat and I use the SA 7wt from the bank early season.Tend to use the 15ft inter clear tip most of all.I first came across these lines in USA a few years back and I still use them from time to time.

Best JP
